The cheetah is symbol of fast action, patience, opportunity, self-esteem, flexibility, focus, selectivity, intensity, activity, sight, progress, curiosity, intelligence, perception and adaptability. This is the spirit animal who reminds us to set and prioritize our goals. Our goal as an organization it to serve as a guiding light for those in need within our LGBTQIA+ community
Meet Our Board Members
Hey there! I'm all about love, family, and embracing our Native American roots. Being bisexual, raising two amazing kids, three cats, and juggling two jobs keeps me on my toes, but it's the most fulfilling journey.
My youngest, my 15-year-old, is a bright and low support autistic kiddo. He's my absolute pride and joy. We honor our heritage by letting his hair grow long— it's a symbol of our spirit. Braiding our hair is more than a tradition; it's a reminder to radiate positivity in everything we do.
My eldest, Mason, is a resilient 18-year-old, exploring life as a trans non-binary individual. They face challenges from discrimination and transphobia, but our family and our Native community stand by them wholeheartedly. We've come a long way, but we're still on this journey together, offering support wherever it's needed.
In the past, I ran a non-profit supporting domestic violence victims. Providing a safe space for those who felt out of place was my calling, and it's a cause very close to my heart.
Being a part of Prism is incredibly important to me. I'm all about striving for a world where everyone feels equal and accepted. I believe in guiding and uplifting our community toward a brighter, more inclusive future. Let's walk this path together!
